About the Run
This may be different from other “races” you’ve done. We don't keep track of your finish time, and you won’t get a medal when you finish. Instead of closing down the streets, we ensure a safe and fun running route on sidewalks, through parks, and along trails!
Due to COVID-19 regulations, all race participants are required to wear a face-covering and keep a 6ft distance between others. Hand sanitizing stations will be available.
In order to help provide space on the course and at Trap Door Brewing, everyone will register for a start time between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Select your start time and get ready! We'll send all instructions via email the week of the event, including when to arrive, what to bring, where to park, and more.
Event Day Details
-Please arrive at your selected time to get checked in, please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your selected time begins.
-You are free to begin running any time within your designated start window.
-Due to COVID-19 precautions, we will not have a communal water station set-up on the course. It may be a very warm day, so please plan on running with your own water bottle.
-We will draw names for fun door prizes, every hour on the hour. Winners will be notified via email with instructions on how to redeem.
-Bring a valid ID. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but must be 21 to enjoy the beer. (Registered, underage participants receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage).
-There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly.
-The course is open, meaning roads will not be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
-We run rain or shine! Dress appropriately for the weather. If conditions become unsafe to run, due to weather, we will still hang out and drink beer!
-Bring extra money if you want to purchase food or more beer.
-This is an untimed, fun-run. All levels of walkers, runners, and joggers are welcome.
FAQ
Can I run with my dog? Well behaved dogs are allowed on the run only but make sure they do well in big crowds. No dogs in the pub. Sorry!
What about kids? Children are welcome, but they can't drink beer. Please be aware this is an open course, and roads will not be closed.
Can I wear headphones? Yes, BUT we'd prefer not. This is a social run, after all! Whatever you decide, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings.
Where can I park? Look for a spot in the surrounding neighborhood. Please arrive early enough to find a place. Biking, carpooling, or public transportation will make your life better. ALWAYS be respectful of the local business and neighbors!
Keep an eye out - we will send you all final event details via email the week of this event and share anything else you might need to know.
Cheers to beers! We’ll see you at Trap Door Brewing!
